The only reason I can imagine for a change in your playing is the setup i.e. number of drums and how they are placed. If it was the same size kit as your own then maybe try mimicking the set-up, And...

Yes I keep been pointed to towards maple custom absolutes, I think a bit of ebay searching is required on my part.

I hear so much about DW drums and follow them very closely. I do love the sound of their drums and also the looks. But I'm curious to hear if people really think It's worth the large price tag...?
