Oh, enough of the thinly veiled references to Bo's avatar already!

Re: Negative Progress / Quitting

Tell your subconscious mind, from my more-or-less conscious one, that apart from the few who are acshly paid to hit stuff, we're all useless to varying degrees.

If you're not being paid to hit...

Re: Musicians Say streaming Music will Leave them Broke.

There's also the way in which music is consumed.

It's been a while since "high fidelity" was a hobby. I think there are two reasons for this:
First CD's made what would have been hugely...

Re: Trusting others with your kit?

One question: What kind of opportunity is this for you? What do you stand to gain?

As others have said, risk to drums is very low.

If you're worried about your cymbals, don't let others use...

Re: Negative Progress / Quitting

Most of here drum for fun, so you need to rediscover the fun aspects of making and playing music.

For me, that's playing with mates. I'd love to get to play out, and maybe that will come, and...

Re: The old Pearl Exports??

I play a set of Pearl Exports that I think are older than that (no ISS mounts, long lugs).

They cost me similar money to the set you linked. I brought 'em home, cleaned them and slapped new heads...

Re: Purchasing drums online: Ebay vs. Craiglist

Six years is a long time to wait for a response.

Re: Best drum teacher in youtube

Jens's flam-rests are awesome, and very well explained.

Right now I'm working on something I invented myself. With a bit of work I think it could become the 41st rudiment.

I call it the Blast...

Re: Anyone ever try to poach your seat?

Re: Help - Meeting up with Guitarist

Ri-i-i-i-i-ight.

That prolly doesn't have any windows.

Oh, I'm sure it'll be fine, really.
