Re: Buying first kit, 2 options, which kit would you go for?

I like the OCDP kit. About a couple of days ago, I was playing around with the kits at GC and found this one. I just looked at the name, not the info. It sounded really good and than I read that it...

Re: Considering a new kit

The Starclassic Birch/Bubinga is AMAZING. I played it and it was FINE. Think about it like this: if the Tama Silverstar is really good with stock heads, how good is the B/B going to be with Remos??? ...

Re: We're not copying Travis Barker

You know, there's this thing called playing for Blink-182. I don't even care/watch most of the drummers people talk about on here and I know about Travis Barker.

We're not copying Travis Barker

I've seen a lot of the older guys say that the younger players are playing their toms flat to emulate Barker.

1. I play my toms flat

2. I have never seen Barker play and than change my tom...

Re: Help me look....cooler? more relaxed?

I've noticed this when I ran in track. I'm decent so in relays I'm always 3rd in the line up. When we were about to start, people would always be telling me to loosen up and relax.

I was always...

Re: The worst drum /cymbal purchase you ever made

Before I found this site, I was in a desperate need of a replacement crash from my brass 14". I got a ZBT 14" crash instead.

Re: You know you're a drummer when...

You know you're a drummer when the gap between the end of the belt and the actual belt itself, is very amusing. So amusing that you just want to continuely tap it.

I mean, I can't be the only...

So last Friday, we had a Cabaret night for the middle and high school jazz bands. I asked my director who's drum set was going to be there. He said a senior's. So I'm picturing a nice birch kit with...

Re: Gretsch Catalina Maple

There's a COOP3RDRUMM3R video where he texts out the Revised ZHT line (no mixing or edits) and they actually sound pretty good.

However, new cymbals are never a good deal. Personally I would...

It's 1668.53 dollars. Is there any possible way you could get used? That's twice as much as what we pay here.

Re: 4 piece vs 5 piece kits

Thanks bro. The logo head makes it look cheaper but I tracked it down and it is a 100th Year anniversary Classic Maple. With 13 inch New Beats, 16 inch A medium thin crash, 20 inch A medium ride,...

Re: 4 piece vs 5 piece kits
