As I said since I don't mind about the number of sets a module can simulate. I only mind which module is better at mimicking the real drums.
So for example which one is better:
Td9 or the new td 11...

interesting, so just to be on the same page, if I take the male version, on one side I plug it as usual to the module, in the other side I just cut it and connect the two wires together, it's should...

Already did that
there is no closed hi-hat sound, there is different hi-hat sounds, you can assign different sound (e,g tom sound to that trigger) but if you choose hi-hat, then you do get hihat...

I think I will go the same route, instead of buying new kit, I will simply buy set of toms.

Yes, but that will be custom made drums, and it will cost a fortune..

I think that to look in ebay for toms set or to find them one by one is OK.
After all the hardware of the RT is very good,...
