How does the E-kit tempo check actually work? Is it measuring how accurately your backbeats fall on the click or how well you can keep the tempo at, for example, several bars, a minute etc?

For me this question is kind of tough to answer as I feel that when to speed up depends so much of the type of a particular exercise I'm working on. There are so many factors at play and at the end...
