Yeah, I thought the KickPort might just be a marketing thing but hell no, it works and works big time. Huge sound coming from my 20" kick...love it!!!

Wavelength hit it on the head. If you are trying to record videos of you in your drum studio/practice room or even from a live situation, you really need a two items, an HD video recording device...
