IMO, Calling Elvis screams Manu Katché, with splashes and all .

Even the sound is very katché, smooth, tasty.

He is on the credits of the album so he did some cuts on the record for sure so...

Just a little correction on the current enormous Potnoy drumkit :

It is not One drumkit but Two that are glued together.

If you take each kit separately, they are not that big !

In a Maiden DVD he said that his first inspiration for starting on the drums was the great Joe Morelo and the classic Take Five track, the guy is over 50 so his first inspirations are jazz drummers...

FYI, it is not Dave Lombardo who is playing on the studio version of the song DittoHead but Paul Bostaph who drummed on the Divine Intervention (1994) album.

Remember that Lars is one of the only drummer (Collins maybe) that has a writing credit on all the songs of the band (except Motorbreath on Kill Em All) and they are now in the 100 million records...
