Re: Insurance for my drums...how? who?

Homeowners and renters Ins. don't cover pros. Try Heritage, they are the provider of choice for instrument collectors.

Re: Are ahead cases worth the price tag?

I just picked up a snare bag. It's very nice but I'm not a fan of the big rubber insignia on the face of it. Since it's sewed on has anyone every removed one?

I called the 800 number and they...

Re: Rogers drums back under Dixon.

I think the nit pick is valid. It's supposed to be a recreation of a vintage drum. The drum looks great and would look even more great without a gasket.

Re: Best way to clean shells with matte finish

Matte describes the texture, to know what product is used to clean them, you need to know the finish material.

Re: Taye snare drums. Any good?

I bought a Vintage Brass Metalworks Taye on Bermuda's recommendation. It sounds great!

Re: Best Modern New Snare Under $300

Taye MetalWorks Vintage Brass Snare Drum 14x6.5. I didn't need another snare drum but when MF blew this out a few months ago I couldn't resist. This is a great sounding drum and I've got and had a...

Re: How to fire a band member

I think his friend should tell him. He could do it in a manner to preserve the friendship (if desired). Tell him his style of playing doesn't really fit in with the rest of the bands "vision". That's...

Re: New Rogers...really?

That's good news, I've been looking for a Dyna-Sonic snare wire tension screw thing and the only ones I could find are about $50 with shipping.

Hi Ron, I had a nice SS drum of yours for a while.

Re: Dunnett Snares

It's unique in construction, hand made using the best materials and it's signed. It has a big phat sound, it's sensitive, musical, versatile and will last forever with proper handling. How much do...

Re: Noble & Cooley Alloy Classic snare buzz

Thanks, the drum is new and stock. I'm starting to like it a lot and I'm getting used to the small tom buzzing. I was wondering if it's part of the Noble Cooley heritage to get a real snarey sound...

Re: Calming the Nerves before Performance

That was really good, you play very well. I would say not to repeat the elbow thing, once was fine. Also they should give you a snare stand that doesn't move around so much. Some of the snare rolls...

Re: Noble & Cooley Alloy Classic snare buzz

Hi Bill, a hazy 200 (stock head) and coated ambassador. This snare seems to buzz a lot more than my others and I was thinking about changing the wires, but I don't want to lose too much of the drums...

Noble & Cooley Alloy Classic snare buzz

Does anyone else get an excessive amount of snare buzz from the N&C Snares? Should I try Puresounds instead?

Re: Great Audition: No Gig

I was the drummer in a band once, I got in because:

1) My brother was co-leader.

2) The guitarist didn't own a guitar or amp so I loaned him my SG and amp and supplied him with cigarettes.
