What's inside your Kick drum?

I'm curious.. how do you guys normally treat your
kick/bass drums? Do you stuff it with pillows to muffle?

Post WWII England suffered an economic crisis..it lasted almost

Figured i'd try painting one of the bass drum hoops 1st and see how it turned out..
here's some pics documenting this process for anyone interested in doing it.

STILL not 100% set up yet.. I also I have the bottom rim coming for the 12" tom.

I'm still waiting on the heads.. (tuesday!)

In the meantime,

I managed to replaced floor tom muffler with new nice one..
installed correct spurs on kick. got rubber bumpers for the fl tom...

i ended up going with ambassador coated heads and ambassador clears
*a drummer friend of mine, recommended these due to versatility

So. I bought some NOS parts (almost!) but vintage ludwig nonetheless, new spur for KD
Few lugs, rims, tension rods, replacement muffler for floor tom.. plus plastic rubber feet.
