Re: A song sprung on you out of the blue?

"Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" by Michael Jackson. That was sandwiched between "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke and "F#%$ You" by Ceelo. We were live auditioning a singer at a gig and that sealed...

Re: Mis-matched finishes anyone play live?

Swing by a vinyl shop and have them print you out a sheet to wrap the kick with. They should be able to knock out a fade like that in a few minutes. You would be able to take the wrap off without...

Re: "Technical Rider" help

Everything should be listed and drawn on a stage plot as detailed as possible. Mics, stands, DIs, monitors, amps, etc.

Re: Oh really!?

He forgot to add Downy to his new LG Sonic Stain Reducer Washer. Besides, everyone knows darks are better suited to overtone reduction.

Re: My newest Snare!

I love mine. It is a predecessor to the Black Panther series. It sounds great tuned high or low and it tracks great too. I use it on 90% of my gigs in addition to an LM400, as always use more than...

Re: Just picked this up - Rogers Big R

I bought a set of 5 ply Big Rs 6 months ago. A chunk of the wrap was missing on the bottom of the kick and someone had installed generic floor tom mounts and legs. I loved the kit though as it...

Re: Wrapping drums - seam placement

Re: Used Tama Starclassic

That's a good price for a pro set. It is birch and you can't beat the quality for the price. Do it. Do it now. If you like the sizes of course.

Re: Switching from Yamaha to Mapex!

It used to be funny. The banter and what not. Now it is disturbing to witness the lengths you will go to in order to be heard/seen.

I don't use top felts except when I use an upside down china so I don't...

Re: Touring Fees
