yes the grip is critical for moeller. Gripping the stick with ur thumb and index limits the free bounce of the stick. if u grip loosely with the thumb and middle finger the stick will bounce freely...

i always thought that ur middle, ring, and i suppose pinky, fingers do a lot of the work in finger technique...u should probly put weights on all ur fingers anyway tho. Don't forget to stretch them...

i agree...u should use a pillow for endurance and strength exercises..but not for technique, it's common sense, if u hit a pillow ur stick will not bounce back...so why should u practice on something...

#91 Don't think...feel...try not to think of what ur actually doing at the moment..just feel it and you won't miss a beat. It should seem as if you're riding the music..just hear that beat or fill...
