that was the first choice on my nice-to-have-list behind the solid (cause of matching my collector's kit*, too) ... but then i heard the stainless steel ... and for my luck this one was cheaper than...

nine month

i did in 2003. a six-piece-collector in natural satin oil (shown in my gallery thread) was nine month (!) to arrive. but i'm happy since then.

i removed the mount without removing the lugs of my 13x16 (floor) tom when putting a gauger fts on it ... but i think it's easier with the 6-hole-stms than with the smaller 4-hole-ones.

that's new for me ... i've never seen a not-signed dw-craviotto shell (mine is from '01), just from the "solid" series. they are just stamped.

for me, the best of both worlds is a 5"x14" dw all-maple (10+6) and a 5,5"x13" dw solid maple (shell stamped with craviotto) together.

the 5,5"x14" dw craviotto (mine is signed by jc from 2001) is...
