I just got rid of my rack, the 8 inch tom, and the third crash. Now, 2 up, 1 down, 2 crashes, ride and hats. The rest didn't make me any better

Could you not just re-wax it . I'm not sure how well the Tung oil will work unless you get all of the old wax off.

I did a Youtube search and Cherryhill Custom Drums also sells an aluminum one piece snare called The Aviator. Could be fun to watch the law suits.
