After an intense arguement with my mother, i sat on my kit at 11pm and started playing double bass metal as an anger release.........i heard about it the next day....and the one after that

aesthetically, i think small kits are better. I believe lots of tomtoms looks atrocious....

lots of cymbals is a different story...

i like playing along to stuff with really simple beats, that way you can add stuff in if you feel like it.
Its easier to play complicated over a simple song than to play simple over a complicated...

that webpage kinda looks like a get-rich-quick gimmick, but when you look at the videos, you can see that he's a genuine guy that knows what he's talking about. i like his style a lot.

yes punchy! thats the word i'm looking for. I think something that helps with this punch is the contrast of sounds in his rythms. For example, using ear-piercing bells quarters or eighths, while...
