Ah! Then you my friend are in luck..... I've seen tons of former HH and HHX's so there is lots of gold out there. I'm pretty sure that mine is/was a AA medium

Thanks! Glad you like em... Well, its been my experience that this type of crazy lathing actually dries out the cymbal-quite a bit. This is one of the reasons I think the rides sound fantastic....

One thing to add is that immediately after the stencil was removed, I placed the cymbal on the stand and lightly played to help the paint settle into the grooves. This should help adhesion as its...
