Re: 1980's Gretsch USA Custom

Re: How were drums taught back in the day?

While I agree with most of what was said, I'll have to respectfully disagree that the appreciation of music is gone. While most who have answered have experienced the pre-internet way, post internet...

Re: Strangely hard, easy sticking pattern

Does anyone have a video demonstrating this beat? I'm having a hard time mentally hearing it. Or maybe I've heard it before but cant tell what it is by reading it.

Re: How big of a difference do drum heads make?

Slap on some Evans G2 over G1 and you're good to go, or Remo's equivalent of those heads.

Re: new thread deleted. help?

Man this thread. Kinda dulled the sparkle a little. Some of these responses are a little too harsh. The OP appears apologetic, some people questioned the response of others not meaning any offensive,...

Re: PDP X7 drumset

Re: Can I keep my toms low on a 22" kick?

You most definitely can have the toms as low as cobus has them. I also play with the pdp concept maple, all you have to do is raise your throne a bit. My 12 inch toms sits with just about an inch...

I experience this too! I sit with my band and tons of ideas bounce off like crazy! Once I'm alone on the kit I play the same boring things over and over. Its like my idea box is empty.

Maybe...

Re: Weird symptoms before a show

Wow been busy lately. I dont need to go when I'm onstage. The symptoms vanish as soon as I start playing. The only thing I can think of that can be related was having an emergency appendectomy and...

Re: Weird symptoms before a show

Thanks for your responses guys. Still sucks though. I'd prefer to have a dry mouth than almost soiling myself. I find it comical and my band members do to and joke about it, best way to deal.

Re: Weird symptoms before a show
