I have one of those, it's an excellent allround snare. Mine, I tune white low, and it work very well as a fatback snare.

Actually, I have never been happier with any kits I've had, ever!

Main kit with my band are the new Absolute Hybrid...

Very excited here... Just bought a NOS Pre-YESS 9000 Recording from 1988!
Black, as it should be...

Sizes are 10x8", 12x8", 14x10" toms, 16x16" Floor tom and a 22x14" bass drum. All in it's...

I have a 6+6 6x14 DW snare. I like the thinner shell, and it is very warm and can be tuned low if you want to. On the other hand, if you crank it, you'll get a great crack aswell.
