Re: Is It Just Me?

I really prefer old stuff. Drums: 1980's Ludwigs, snares: '65 Supra and 61 Pioneer. Pedal: mid-70's Ghost.

Re: Just how much DO drummers make?

This is a fascianting discussion and for what it's worth, here's my perspective.

Drummers are no different from painters, actors or other artists. It is a highly fluid, transient and some might...

Re: Ludwig badge position

Thanks for the many replies guys. Very Helpful. I live in New Zealand and recently bought the kit (sans snare) at an on-line auction for the equivalent US$175 so pretty pleased. I figured that I...

Ludwig badge position

I bought an early Ludwig Rocker kit a while ago which I'm in the process of restoring. Something that I thought curious was that when I mount the 12" and 13" tom on the bass drum, the Ludwig...

Re: Playing as loud as possible? Yay or nay?

Speaking as 50 year old who pretty much destroyed 50% of his hearing in his teens and 20s by playing as loud as possible in rock bands I would suggest that it is not only unnecessary but unhelpful....
