I did see New Orleans Drumming DVD and that is one of the books I was thinking about. Have you seen the Moore DVDs? I'm most likely looking for a modern style of New Orleans...

Thanks TTNW, I know that Moore has some great material out there, but the only one I've found on Amazon with great revues would be "Take It To The Street" (Book & CD). That is the reason I wrote this...

I found Zoro's book "The Commandments of Early Rhythm and Blues Drumming" and it sound like a very good book for studying blue drumming. Any other suggestion?

That is a beautiful kit. I love the retro finishes so much pizzazz. I also love the sound of an un-ported head, but you gain so much by having the port. I have one of those Evans EQ pillow in my bass...
