you can also get carbon fiber wet and not have to worry about warpage or any other problems.
now possible rusting of hardware is another issue but on my kawasaki ninja zx10 i have a carbon fiber...

also worth mentioning here is that carbon fiber drums are very light and tough, so thats always a plus when lugging them around. and the 18" bass drum
was so strong that the owner would stand up...

the houston percussion center (HP CUSTOM DRUMS) www.percussiononline.com makes carbon fiber drums. i played on a set and i can tell you the bass drums are awesome. they are a bit pricey there...

well as you know one is the turbo model and one is the accelerator . the accelerator seems to be a little more sensitive and quicker for me and has a single chain as opposed to the double chain...

ok i got it in and i must say its not a bad sounding snare for what you pay. obviously the heads are not high end remo or evvans but are a no name brand(literally have no name on them) the snare...

the way i practice it is 1. snare plays the line ,then bass drum plays the line , then play the short notes(1/8th ) on snare and long notes(1/4) on bass drum while HH is on 2&4 and right is jazz ride...

$24.99 ?!?! list price was $149.00 .it makes you wonder how much mark up is on some of theses items. but heck if, its not a user friendly drum to tune i'd still rock it.. i'm a pretty good...
