Re: New Gretsch 3 ply Broadkaster line

I think they are cool. This is coming from someone who owns several round badge kits from the 60's and even a Gretsch bop kit (12 14 18) from the 60's.

Re: My Camco Refurb with pix!

Amazing job. I love the finish and overall look of the drums. Normally I prefer vintage drums stay that way but your kit looks stunning. I would play the heck out of that kit! Very classy look and...

Re: Contrats To Bermuda!

Well done on the album. It would be great to hear your experiences recording it and coming up with the material.
I LOVE the album name. Anyone who has ever served in the military can relate!

Re: Gretsch Stave Snare WOW

My favorite Gretsch snares so far are the 4160 and 4157. Both sound great and both are easy to manage.

Re: 1975 Ludwig classic maple/poplar advice

I would say for being versatile either 3 ply Ludwig or Rogers drums from the 60's to 70's. Either will get you through most anything. I own both!

Re: Are 13" toms obsolete?
