Do port hole sizes change with the drum head size?

Looking for a white Aquarian reso head for my 18 bass drum. But I don't wanna buy it if the hole is the same size as a 22 hole. Shouldn't the port hole be way smaller for a 18 reso head?

Re: Should I be annoyed?

I hate sharing a kit, your not saving very much time by using somebody elses anyway. I'm left handed so I always use that as an excuse to not let some body use my drums.

Re: Dave Grohl is underated!

With John Bonham it was about the sound. There's more discussion about John Bonham's sound than any other drummer on the entire internet. Being in Led Zeppelin I don't think was a horrible thing...

Re: Dave Grohl is underated!

I'm not a Dave Grohl worshiper, I just think he has contributed to rock pretty good the same way Keith Moon or something just in a different time.

Re: Dave Grohl is underated!

Why do u say that Dave? Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age are not exactly failures.

Dave Grohl is underated!

He played drums for Queens of the Stone age- No One Knows. If you listen to his isolated track and still think he isn't great then there is something wrong with you!

I have 5 kits but only keep one set up at a time. But I keep my cheapest set at the band's jam spot.

What up, I own 5 drum sets, 2 ludwig, 1 Tama rockstar, 1 DW collecors, 1 pearl export and every one of them I play after a while the same lug on the bass drum gets loose. The one 4 o'clock. I'm left...

Re: Ludwig Supraphonics

All I can say is, the 6.5'' x 14 402 is the best sounding snare I have ever played. This video is the best ive ever had it sounding.
