Re: What brand of kit do you play?

Oh, the "blowhard" quote doesnt reflect my opinion about the overwhelming majority of good peeps here on the sight, only the few boneheads whos words are more poison than antidote.

Re: 1 inch

If you had two of the same make/model drums in the same material and the same heads and tuning, I think you would be hard pressed to hear a real difference of only 1 inch depth. Although thats...

No problem bra. I knew it would be a no brainer. You will never have to sell them for less then you bought them for. Infact, now that theyre "used" you could probably get $1500 for em right now. :)

Re: I found a new (2008) DW 3 piece shell pack for...

Agreed, thats a Rock setup all the way. Yes, it can be used for almost anything, but it is a typical 1 up 1 down Rock kit.

That is a good price. DW drums new go for something like $1000 a drum...

Re: Yamaha gigmaker or Sonor smart force stage 2?

True. You can get a very nice mid to high end kit with all the fixens for a Grand, and the more hundreds you can throw on, the better they get.

Re: Drum Situation
