Re: Learning a Song You Hate

A couple of months ago I had to learn "Build Me, Buttercup" to play along with a middle school choir.

Re: East Coast get together, 8/9/14 planning stages

Right now I have nothing going on that weekend. But don't know if I can make it money wise. I am relatively a newbie but I think this would be a great party to attend.

I will let you know.

Re: Just curious -----------

Honestly I keep forgetting.
Full time work, school, what little free time with kids and/or music endeavors-this escaped my mind. And I seemed to be in this sleep depraved fog lately.
On my next...

Bad quarter as far as finances, relationships, and other such things. Should be a good weekend music wise as I have about 3 different music things lined up.

Re: Brain Fart :-)

In one of the cover bands I was in we did "No Excuses" by AIC which starts off with a recognizable drum part.

Well, one night we were playing I could not remember how the damn thing went. I was...

Anywho-during my last gig I walked off stage feeling like we had a decent set, the crowd enjoyed...

Re: Have you ever quit a band that you wanted to rejoin later?

Many many moons ago I was playing in a blues based rock band that was along the lines of the harder edge bands of late 80's. We had a small falling out because, well, everyone in the band was related...

Re: The big debate: tribute bands - yay or nay!?
