specific pedal adjustment

alright this is a question for you slightly more tech drummers out there.

I use a Tama iron cobra power glide pedal. i want more control and stability in each kick, without more resistance. right...

Left hand strength/speed practice

Basically i hold my practice pad in my right hand and blast away the moeller technique with my left. Pick the fastest speed you can go without being sloppy. I do it for several hours on and off...

if you play hard rock, check out the basic Ludwig Accent 5 piece package, which is cheaper than the one you mentioned. it has really nice deep sounds and mine is still in tip top shape after 4...

as far as a camera goes, it depends on what youre publishing to. If you plan to go dvd or high-quality, i would suggest saving up and investing in an HD...

what i do is start the video off with a stick count, then later in editing you do this.

put the waveforms side by side until your stick count from the video matches the audio.

not perfect bt it...

the ludwig has a lot of addon capabilities
and it has some nice lowend sounds

i would say go with the accent, but this is biased beause i love my accent 8 piece.

someone told me that an example of a fourth is the first 2 notes of the wedding march, so i jut went with that, keeping that note gap between batter and resonant heads and then to each drum...

I had my toms pitchtuned based off fourths (i have no idea what this means). I know how to get it there but i want to go thirds. whats a fourth and third in music terms?

brand new $350 custom maple snares with offset lugs and maple hoops are hard to find.

he litterally jumps and airs off the throne on some snare hits.

im really not picky when it comes to cymbals other than my hi hat. you could consider it a good thing to wanna change around a lot though, because it will give you some expertise to cymbals sounds...

I don't own a router and i don't wanna go ruining shells, so i'm purchasing them with precut 45* edges. (chamfer cut im pretty sure)
i can include heads and i'll even tune it up real nice.
