and, What Bo Said. film the show and film practices too...it's a great learning aid to check your tuning, pacing, choice of licks etc etc etc.

i never got that one either. may have been a rushed recording job and they didn't get a chance to fix it (the arrangement). sometimes things get let out of the barn that we ourselves aren't even...

i tend to go from Low E to high E, one at a time (keeping the other strings on the guitar) in order to keep tension on the bridge.

it kind of eased the .....um discomfort once it came to me that it was a play on the Katy Lied album cover...i guess that's what it is....i don't want to know, really....

re: "Crossroads", i always thought there was an edit right after the guitar solo to fix the fact that Clapton was soloing on the offbeat the whole while....if we're talking about the usual live...

i think it's his height / and-or just the way he's built.

Chad is like 6 foot 12 or something which would lead to a gentler stroke. imagine if he put his all into it...he'd probably slice through...

it looks like the base of a microphone stand. i don't know why it would be there unless it's used as a weight to keep the cymbal stand from falling over.
