Well, in the instance of poplar, its been known to be used in both intro kits (too many to name), intermediate kits (again too many), semi pro (haymans now), and pro (vintage haymans, c&c and a few...

i absolutely cant (and i think thats also going to actually prevent me) from seeing myself as pro as i see it more as technical skill. something you have in vastly more...

Made a post a while back explaining i now make my entire living off drums and quit the paper factory i worked at, and still going strong with bookings coming in for next year atm.

Ringo. i was young and jumped on the hate bandwagon.Then tried doing a lot of his stuff and a combination of left hand lead drum rolls and some actually tight playing makes him a hugely underrated...

thats one other thing.in us they are cheap, in uk they arent. Would you still say an acro is that amazing and that worth it if the min you could get it for was 189 or $285 for you yanks.

i must admit though, i cant imagine a time when someone would pick an acro over a supraphonic. Rich and Morello certainly didnt.... Im also surprised the reissue went so well when its the same...
