Re: A re-statement of the obvious

I spend most of my moderating time banning spammers and trying to block them in advance. Very little time is spent baby sitting. That is due to the class of the members. Some great drummers, many...

I did a Youtube search and Cherryhill Custom Drums also sells an aluminum one piece snare called The Aviator. Could be fun to watch the law suits.

Re: How do you pack and ship cymbals?

UPS reccomends, item, 2 inches of padding, in first box then , 2 inches of padding on the outer box. If the first box gets penetrated there is still 2 inches of protection

Re: Namm 2019 rumors

Re: My BumWrap Journey. Rewrapping 35+ Year old Pearl Exports

If you ever have to replace a wrap on one drum for whatever reason, gluing the entire wrap down would be a big mistake. My only change in the instruction was to use masking tape on the first end,...

Re: Question about hole spacing

Is the diameter proper for the lugs or screws? If so, only enlarge up or down. Don't make the entire hole bigger or they may rattle in time. You can take a drill bit of the same diameter , or a...

Re: How much time till single stroke competency?

Re: Anyone just play drums for themselves only?

Like my photography, and woodworking, drumming is a hobby. To me it's therapy. I don't need an audience to watch me make a picture frame, coffee table, take photos of flora and fauna. I do it for...

Re: Anyone have any experience with

I guess it would help if you were concerned with something or someone under you. Just dampens floor vibrations, but does nothing for drum sounds. I figure a few layers of carpet would do the same...
