What does "4 on the Floor" mean? I've read about drummers playing this in Modern Drummer, but I don't know what it means! Any info on it would be great.

Thanks

If your looking for a durable drumset that will last a very VERY very long time, look into Pearl's Export kit or their new Vision kits. Both are cost effective, but yet sound professional.

Re: Any suggestions for a tight, poppy sounding snare?

Why would you prefer a 14'' diameter and a 6''-6 1/2 depth?
I know that the 14'' would be more versitale than a 13'', but why else would I need it bigger?

Thanks for your suggestion!
