Re: Drums - the stage prop du jour (Grammies content)

Re: Ludwig's new Signet 105 drum line!

I have a couple of 20's, a 50's WFL & a 70s Gretsch and they both have 8. They sound fine, some folks just don't like something new.

Re: Toss Panos

Saw him with Vai after Bozzio and Abe Laboriel Jr. split. At the time, he rocked from Noble & Cooley's and did a helluva job. He was also Sheryl Crow's drummer (and boyfriend) before she broke big...

Re: Preshow Rituals

After I setup my kit, I wash my hands. I just don't like playing drums with dirty hands.

Re: Will Calhoun: Sonor to Mapex

Re: Touring/Live Drummers- what's in your monitors?

Depends: If I'm working with singer-songwriters who play acoustic, then their vocals and guitar are #1 in the mix. Bass is #2 and other guitars are #3. If I'm not using a rhythm watch/click, then I...

Re: Pork Pie Little Squealer 4PC Drum Kit?

Same build quality, they're starting to show up at Guitar Centers around the US. I think they're all the flat black w/ flat silver lugs. Nice setup.

Re: 22 vs 20

(dia.x depth)

Re: Tom arrangements

When I play with a larger setup, I really like having a lower tom in front of me with my floor tom in the regular position. It does change up the patterns and allows me to play a lower tone with my...

Re: Premier...tell me about them

Nope, they're not closing down. Just moving production to Asia....like most of the world. The cost of materials and such, made it a joke to produce in the UK. Their distribution in UK and Europe is...
