i think what you need to do is find a band that you've always kinda wanted to get into and learn a lot of thier music. It's a great way to bring a fresh outlook to your playing.

I think it's alright to push the tempo as a song goes on and momentum builds, but 20 is a little extreme. The best advice I can give is to stop the song at practice as soon as you feel like the band...
