Natural keyholing I would think indicates a cymbal that has been played probably because it sounds good. Not sure about the sweet spot theory more likely the heavy side naturally turns to the bottom....

I think they are a great offering, especially for the Craviotto knockers. I just played my Ludwigs and then my Craviottos and they do not sound the same. The Ludwigs don't even come close. Expecting...

I have no preference for either wood or metal snare drums, but i'm not that keen on Aluminium.. look at this one.

Nice snares Jim, noticing the centre bead on the vintage drums is larger than the newer drums as well.Visually they look stronger and most likely sonically as well.

Interesting , I immediately noticed the difference in tension rod quality between the '60' s drum and the newer BB, so to those who think that there is not much difference between the vintage and new...

Yep sounds familiar, i eventually got what i ordered sort of, but it took a lot of emailing back and forth and months later i received kind of what i originally ordered. haven't been back for more.

Reinforce your right hand with your bass drum, you can even play your right hand slow and strait and dance around with your bass drum to keep it interesting.
