This is a ZIP file with the pages of the score ripped straight from that MIDI file. As far as I can tell the transcription of the solo isn't perfect, but it's close enough to have fun with at least....

I heard it was originally written as a vocal piece, until Benny Goodman arranged his version. Can anybody confirm that? I'd love to hear a vocal recording of it!

I came across a more modern version of the song on a great album - the soundtrack to the movie "Swing Kids". I realise this may be a bit of a drumming 'faux pas' :) but I prefer it to the original. ...
