The nouveau might be better bang for your buck because it comes with hardware.... The Gretsch is just a shell pack.

The gretsch drums are probably better, though.

No offense taken....DWs are available in Maple or Birch...Masterworks are Maple, Birch, or Mahogany so there are more options. Both are custom, so you can get what you want. And the finishes are...

Thanks Karl...I'm pretty sure Bill uses a ludwig hammered brass that's very expensive...So the gretsch steel is a similar sound and it's great deal too. thanks!
