Drum lessons are very necessary to a completely NEW Drummer comtemplating to do drumming because "The Basics Has To Be Right".....this is of utmost importance, if he/she were to excel in the future. ...

I practice minimum an hour a day to 2 hours(cause me wify will kill me if I do it longer than that) on Monday, Wednesday & Friday ...except for Tuesday & Thursday which I had Band Rehersal 7.30 to...

In my lessons, I used a Pearl Forum for my lessons. (all Drums are Pearl at my school cause my Instructor is a Pearl Endorsee)...but he owns a Pearl Master.

This has something to do with "The Right Technique" if you want to play "Very Fast 16th Notes using only the Right Hand".

One method I know is :- The 1st-beat - you slap on the Hi-hats using shaft...

Yes you're right...I think the misconception of many (including myself when I started out drumming) was that - Rimshots are supposed to be loud...but is that really so?. The answer is NO
