Re: "Twangy" Overtones and the importance of reso heads.

only asking as I can't seem to find any specifically reso heads on ebay or my local drum shops, only coated and clear, but I was assuming they are both batter heads

Re: 2 questions about cymbals....

What do you mean by glancing blow? I've played drums for about 6 years now, never had any lessons or anything, all self taught and learnt to play by ear so thats why I was enquiring, but if the...

I have my...

Re: Time for a new stick size?

I found this problem also, not with the pain or anything, but the effort of getting the sound that I wanted with harder hitting - I got some Lars Ulrich ahead sticks and have used the same ever since!

Re: After decades, It finally occurred to me...

Same detail for me, I love my 'Tallica Ahead sticks, even the plastic sleeves last me ages and I'm a bit of a rim-shot and heavy crashing fan. My sticks seem to last longer than my cymbals! :P
