Re: JOJO MAYER: NEW Hot Video...
Yes, that's a 10'' Chopper, a cool little effect thing! Goes really well together with his 10'' Fierce mini hats and those trash hats - 13'' HHX hi-hat top (he often changes the top cymbal) and 14''...

Re: JOJO MAYER: NEW Hot Video...
C'mon, that's an insult... he's more like an android, he's too fluid and plastic for a robot... :)
I planned to visit Jojo at some of his clinics in Switzerland but it turned out that at those...

Re: Jojo Mayers bass drum technique
Yeah, that's one of the best videos about his feet technique so far! Old but good! He has added some new weapons to his technical arsenal but all in all it's all based on the free stroke it's...

Re: Is this cheating?

Re: gospel... how can I learn it?
You're looking in the wrong direction, a book will help you learn just some patterns but it won't make you gospel. Not totally related but the same idea -
Jojo Mayer: ''what I like about d'n'b is...

Re: Sonor vs. Yamaha Snare
1) 14x3 is not the right size for jazz, it will be too thin sounding and bright
2) your friend speaks the truth! Sonor makes some of the best snares around!
3) If you have a 14''x5'' brass snare,...
