I was playing pots and pans and ice cream containers with spoons when I was very young.

Mum took me to lessons at age 7 in a mostly guitar shop called Premier Musical Instruments in High Street...

I 'm going through flam,drag and paradiddle rudiments at the moment.

Then when I'm finished with that,I set the metronome to just under my threshold of pain (comfortable at speed)and play 3 mins...

I had the book when I was very young in the 70s.

My first drum book.

Alot of funk rock stuff in that book. Not overly complicated but gives you a real good musical grounding.

In the cover band I was in for 12 years,I started playing left hand lead open style on the hihat,matched grip of course.
That was fun and trying to lead with the left hand all the time when crashing.

I just listened to LIttle Feat's Hate To Lose Your Lovin' and that song puts me in such a good mood.

Not a fan of Porcupine Tree at all.

Didn't mind Steve Wilson's solo album but Porcupine Tree just don't do it for me.
Same with Dream Theater.

Dream Theater sound very dated.

I was terrible at school.

No motivation and drumming was the only thing keeping me alive.

Getting home and playing to Black Sabbath until going to bed and then not doing my homework.Most of it...
