Re: Drums and beer at my first ever band tryout!

Froms those links, it appears to me that the risks far out-weigh the benefits, especially from the 3rd link. Yes, if you drink very small portions, it could potentially help in some areas. But I...

Re: Drums and beer at my first ever band tryout!

Maybe I didn't hint to my sarcasm in my post as much as I should have. (Ehh, looks like I didn't hint to it at all. Sorry)
I personally hate pop. I agree with you that it is extremely unhealthy.

Re: Drums and beer at my first ever band tryout!

Yes, "Alcohol" and "bad for you" do tend to exist in the same sentence.

Re: Drums and beer at my first ever band tryout!

Re: Post your Greatest Weakness

In terms of drumming, hand technique.
In terms of regular stuff, public speaking.

Pro Drummer Neighbor

So today after 10 years of living here, I found out that I've been living a block away from a drummer that played professionally for 25 years. Maybe I can convince him to give me lessons.

Re: Best Youtube instructors for the following

Drumeo is great for beginners. Jared Falk really knows what he's doing. Steven Taylor is also great.

For fills, I would definitely check out Alex Ribchester.
