Re: Ringo Starr

Re: Favorite high end drum kit- model and brand?

As you can see by this discussion, there are many choices from many brands that will suit you well and should last forever. The one flaw I see in all of this is buying a set like the one your...

Re: To rack or not to rack?

As has been shown here, there are multiple rack formations, some simple, some sophisticated. I use a simple Pearl rack with three toms up and and three crash and one ride cymbal. That said, I don't...

Re: My new Yamaha Hybrid Maple.

You can also remove the right hand tom arm and use the holder for cymbal mount for a splash cymbal.

Re: Drum Hack: Floor Tom Sustain

I have a Catalina Maple 16 inch floor tom, and I left the stock floor tom leg rubber tips on and then put cane or crutch tips of the proper size on top of those. Much more sustain if that is what...

Re: Online Courses

With your situation I would strongly suggest in-person lessons. Trying to down load lessons and then going home to practice seems like a hassle to me. One -on -one where you can ask questions and...

Re: Get better Andy!

Andy, blame me for the 7/11 day idea, but true to character, you consider a stroke, a life threatening, often debilitating event, just a tough week. I'm sure, pretty sure, that one day down the...

Re: THE MONSTER MARCHING KIT - A whole kit made from marching drums!!!

Re: Can a very (!) cheap drumset sound ok..?
