ted reeds syncopation has 8 exercises i believe they start somewhere in the pg 38 mark first do all notes with 2 and 4 with hi hat (but clicking all the time as in constant quarter with only 2 and 4...

For some of the rudiments isolate the hands and practice that a little bit for example in paradiddles play your right hand on the pad, say left hand on the pillow and figure out what you right hand...

Drumline has made my diddles/doubles much tighter... I mean it also helps with the grips (high school matched, now in college traditional). It's not gonna help your jazz so much as the rudimental...

Do independence exercises with swing pattern on right hand and rhythms on your left - you can incorporate with the book Syncopation. I would also start listening to jazz guys almost all the info...
