The thing i found for me at least was that with the throne higher that the back of my upper thigh was pressing on the throne rather than my ass putting pressure on the joint and causing alot of pain...

I would try lowering your throne about 2" maybe 3... when i have mine high enough that my thigh sits on a downward angle i get horrible pain in my hip, when i lower it i can play for hours.. just...

It is great for inspiration, but they also have you send in videos of yourself to critique your technique and help fix any issues and also setup a personal teaching plan for each student if they want...

Beef, sign up for the free trial at Drumeo, i started at 44 myself and spent a year there (and will be signing up again soon) it was easily the best money i have spent as far as lessons/learning...

It's funny you post that... i actually play 3 songs from when ceelo was there when i practice at night, this one, Crazy and F-You.. all are alot of fun to play and pretty easy which is good for me :)

I use only that beater.. it's still plenty loud if you lay into it. but gives a nice WHOOOMP rather than a plasticy smack which i hate with most beaters..
