Re: Do you ever stand back from your drums...

That's true Jay, a set up drumkit is a reflection of the drummer's character and personality, usually when you walk in a room and you look at the drums, you'll know if the drummer can play... 80% of...

Re: Female Drummer Project/Questionnaire

When you only listen to these phenomenal players from a CD, you can't tell they're "female" drummers, you just think of them as shit-hot players, completely gender-less.

She's probably the...

Re: Female Drummer Project/Questionnaire

Last week, I spend a whole day in company of Yolanda Charles, one of the best bass player in the world, and despite she's an absolutely gorgeous lady, the musicianship, the dexterity, the technical...

Re: Bass vs. drums challenge video - released here first :)

Actually, this is not a bad idea... even if it causes minor problems, ie: bass drum pedals, set up position, throne height, etc.

Dave, George and David have very different style of playing, even...

Re: The best kits we've ever made - Honest Capture videos!

The 3 clips genuinely sound like the real thing... absolutely no tricks here, I felt like I was back at the studio watching the performances, only the body feel of the walnut kit is lacking, in the...

Re: Your personal record for most songs learned in the shortest time?

I only did a couple gigs with this band and surprisingly enough, I remembered most of the stops/transitions, the signals from the leader were still useful though...

... but yes, if you gonna play...

Re: What's with the rust?

Re: do you open a thread because of who posted in it?

Yes I do.
