Re: Drum Machine

My guitarist has an AI and an iMac, and I have a USB mic. The USB mic works fine for Youtube, but it doesn't work very well for other things. It might just be because I'm a bad producer, but I...

Thanks for the replies.
I hadn't even thought about using MIDI and libraries and all that good stuff. Thanks, all I need is a MIDI-USB cable, correct?

Re: TAMA Superstar Hyperdrive, Maple (2015) vs YAMAHA Stage customs, birch (2014)

Between these two, I'd pick the Superstar, mainly because I love the short toms. What kind of music do you play? That makes a difference in the wood type you pick.
Consider the Sonor Select Force...

Re: Pearl Export

My buddy has been using an Export his whole drumming career and he likes it. I have used it on multiple occasions and I would be fine using it. I would get a Stage Custom over it. Birch > poplar...

Re: SJC Drums and "The Profit" TV Show

You know, I just looked at their website, and they're arent as expensive as I originally thought. $1,500 for a kit isn't awful. I had it in my mind that they were $4,000+
Nice looking drums.
