Re: Dealing with angry neighbors

That's not true.
Possibly, if it's in the middle of the night or in an apartment, otherwise not.
It's not disturbing public order. The police won't really care.

Re: Thought's on double kick

It's just a fad, haha...
People have different opinions. You'll know if you play 'better', don't hang up just because of a competition.

Re: Tama Starclassic Birch Bubinga

I like them. If they're good enough for Mr. Portnoy, then they'll better be good enough for you. :)

Re: Mikelessons.com or stephensdrumshed.com

I'd go with Mike's lessons, he's a cool guy. Knows his stuff!

Re: Stockholm drum/music stores or venues

Welcome to Sweden! :D
You should visit my home town, Färjestaden, on Öland.

Yeah, we're fit and nice looking... ;)

Re: Travis Barker: Underrated or Overrated? What do you think of him?

I am still. Besides, why does it have to be kids, lol? :)

Agree.

...

One thing he've done, which I'm very grateful of, is how he embrace a whole new generation with drumming. I guess...

Re: Travis Barker: Underrated or Overrated? What do you think of him?

I don't think he's bad, but... he's not better than most other drummers who can play (even some who doesn't make a living out of it).

Posting on YouTube that he's better than some of the greats -...

Re: Suggestions for a classy wrap...

I actually thought about your kit when posting and I assumed you hade the latter, so yeah, I'll contribute with Red Sparkle then. :)

Black Sparkle would almost be better. If it's a really sparkly...

Re: Suggestions for a classy wrap...

Red glass glitter? That'd work for both situations. Contrast to the 'b&w' at a wedding, and rocking at the rock gig.

Re: Made in the US?

Ugh, luckily not. But that doesn't count... ;)

That's hard. I'd presume Premier makes their drums themselves after the re-boot. Still a bit over a grand.

Re: Living next to an unemployed toolman!

I didn't want to offend you, buddy. :)
Just an observation of mine. I love you americans, most of the time.

Re: Made in the US?

It'd better be made in Europe. Here's where real quality products are made. Prove me wrong.

Re: Yamah Vs. Gretsch

Between those two? Yamaha, no hesitation... but in general? I like the history of Gretsch, but that's just the name, so I'll have to pick Yamaha and their quality drums. Their lowest end drums are...

Re: Living next to an unemployed toolman!

I guess that's the difference between American and European (mostly us in the north) people. Even though disturbance, someone using their tools, making noices everyday, we don't complain and...

Re: If you could build you DREAM KIT, what would it be/include? (Shells, cymbals, hardware, etc.)

I like innovative and well-engineered drums, so Sonor would be a nice choice (also somehow patriotic, got to support my fellow neighbors)...

Shells: anything that's pretty pre-EQ'd... birch or...

Re: Playing drums with glasses? ..yes or no...

Contacts, mostly. I don't really want to play with my fancy, and expensive for that matter, glasses from Prada. Too bad 'The Devil wears Prada' is already taken.

Haha, ask Polly if she could make a short comic (if I remember correctly, she's into that stuff)... ;)

Re: An update

Nice having you back on track! You seem to have a lot of fun these days (except the family issues, sorry for that).

...will we get an updated Yamaha, aswell? Can't wait. :)

Re: Critters living in your drums?

No critters but my cat. When I tuned my bass drum she went a sleep on the pillow (ye, I use muffling).
