It was when I saw the Jan Hammer Group in Bloomington, Indiana in 1978 or 1979. They were playing in a fairly small club. The experience made me get more serious about music. Peace and goodwill.

You are in luck! Right now is the best time to buy an inexpensive kit. I like Mapex and Sabian, but that is just me. I recommend Sabian XSR cymbals. Peace and goodwill
