Re: The Banned & the Damned - Where do they go?

Re: The Banned & the Damned - Where do they go?

Hey guys, I was just kidding. I don't even own a gun. Quite frankly, they scare the hell out of me. I was just trying to have a little fun... I didn't want to offend anybody.

Does there seem to...

Re: $1000.00 Acrolite?

Regardless of that fact, $1000 for an acolyte??

Is this person nuts?!?!

Maybe he'd get that kind of money if the snare belonged to Ringo or Bonzo or somebody like that!

$1000.00 Acrolite?

Is this Ludwig Acrolite really worth the minimum price of 1 grand?

I'm in no way interested...

Re: Drum Manufacturers

So would the drums have any relation when viewed in horizontal rows instead of in columns by company name?

I know they don't except maybe a few brands by accident. I think it would be great for...

Re: NEW KIT HELP

Look for USED options. You'll get way more drum for your money and it should keep you close to your budget.

You can take this to the bank!

Re: The importance of counting?

Like I stated before in other threads, I don't count while playing... it messes me up big time.

The Banned & the Damned - Where do they go?

I was recently looking through some old threads I started a few months ago because I remembered something that I could use for reference right now.

While reading some of the older stuff, I noticed...

Re: Blond moments while playing

Glad to see I'm not alone here!

My blonde moment happens every time I try to think about what I'm playing. If I let my brain come to the party, my drumming suffers. I don't know why.

Anybody...

Re: I just met Jojo Mayer and......

Man, the original post is just wiped out? What the hell?

While a moderator can close a post, I don't think the original poster should wipe his/her words clean. Just doesn't seem kosher.

Re: Drum Kit position (Death Metal friendly)

Why should you have your toms as flat as you can get them? I just checked mine out of curiosity, and they all sit at an angle of 29 degrees.

Re: How do I do This?

Wish I could tell you, I play pretty straight forward with my pedal. I not good at doubles (at least fast) and stuff like that.

Give me simple to moderately intricate time keeping...

Re: Kit sharing

Really, really, really bad technique? Some guys (or gals?) hold the sticks like there hammers - a real full-bodied grip. A time-tested recipe for dented heads.
