I've noticed a lot of drummers look over their left shoulder. Funny because i do the same thing. Why is that such a common impulse? I also bounce my left leg almost uncontrollably.

Have you looked at the Gretsch catalina kits? I've played the catalina jazz kit before and i loved it. It's $600 but i think itd be worth it. the other catalina kits are a little cheaper though.
