How do Gavin.

I'm trying to incorporate more intricate bass/double bass into my fills. I was just wonder how you approached this when you first started. Any exercises/tip you could share?

They're a good way to get a decent variety of styles under your belt without committing to anything. Other than that, maybe get a few...

I'd say he's a tad too far behind. When something actually feels like it's dragging then I think there's something wrong!
Then again...it's all in in the ears of the listener.

I've always found that drum tuning is a personal thing. You'll never get a drummer's sound with same gear and same hardware, due to the amount that mics and studio gear put towards the sound. Not...
