It would be called Tama Granstar. Thick birch shells,deep tom depths,heavy drums. Very Clicky kick drum no matter what. Loud and fat and sound miced even when they aren't. One sweet spot tuning wise...

My point is, From what I've heard on Youtube videos, The Ludwig 8" and 10" toms sound weak. Can anyone who owns or plays these sizes of Ludwig Classic Maple drums tell me otherwise?

I've been using the DW gig pillow in my bass drum for almost 10 years . Never had any problems with it, or found it to be too much or too little damping, and I play a ton of gigs
every year.
